To reduce the risk of injury user must read instruction manuals for all tools used in this project. Wear eye and respiratory protection. Use clamps to support work piece whenever practical.
First, to determine the number of fasteners needed, decide on the design of the drawer. Print out the necessary pieces by going to Dremel3D.com to download the models titled Drawer Organizers. For our drawer pattern, we printed (5) #1261 (.25 straight), (1) #1262 and (1) #1329.
Measure the interior dimensions of your drawer to prepare for your dividers. Then, measure and cut the Masonite wood, 1/4" shorter than the length of your drawer, with a Dremel Multi-Saw and wood cutting accessory. The 3D printed pieces will make-up the extra 1/4 inch.
Next, using your Dremel Multi-Max and sanding accessory, sand the wood to smooth any rough edges and surfaces.
Once the dividers are sanded, test that the pieces fit by inserting them into the drawer with the 3D printed pieces attached. If necessary, adjust the pieces accordingly.
Once you are satisfied with the location of the dividers, mark with a pencil where the 3D printed pieces will be glued to.
Now reassemble the drawer dividers. Glue the 3D pieces to the drawer where you previously marked with a pencil in step 6. Once the 3D pieces are stuck to the drawer and dry, glue the dividers into place on the drawers. Once dry, you are ready to organize the drawers!
